What We Offer

Community Dialogue & Peacebuilding

How We Build Peace

Peace starts with a conversation someone’s willing to have

1. Structured Dialogue Programs

We conduct inter-faith, inter-ethnic, and inter-community dialogue as structured and deliberate processes rather than just one-off events. It is to restore the relationship of trust between people who have been through the same conflict but from opposing sides.

2. Tailored Training: NFO Sensitization Packages

We deliver focused 10 to 20 hours of training on issues of mental health, dialogue, and reconciliation, sensitizing relevant officials, SSPDF, war veterans, students, CSOs, and media houses.

3. A Growing Community of Peacebuilders

Once you become our partner, you get involved in a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, psychiatrists, psychologists, priests, bishops, civil society, and media working on the same issue.

Supporting Every Path to Peace

1

Structured dialogues between communities and tribes. It breaks down vicious circles of retaliatory violence and rebuilds the basic trust broken by the conflict.

2

Working with priests, bishops, and other religious leaders to include spiritual and ethical aspects of recovery in the peace-building process, not only clinical.

3

Assisting the military to better understand their civilian constituents, and assisting civilians in understanding the military as a protector, not an adversary, through dialogue from both sides.

4

Life-skills training, peer counseling, and peace education for youth, with active participation in community projects. Because a generation perceived to be part of the solution will no longer be considered the problem.

5

Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as tools to peacefully resolve conflict before it escalates to violence.

6

Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as tools to peacefully resolve conflict before it escalates to violence.

7

Tailored training ready to deliver to the relevant authorities, SSPDF, ex-military personnel, youth, students, CSOs, and media. It is based on what makes a difference in terms of MHPSS and reconciliation.

8

Formal and informal debriefing sessions that allow military units to reflect on events and start the process of group-level psychological rehabilitation.

9

Bespoke policy and program advisory work for organizations such as SCDVA and MODVA, utilizing the expertise of our whole multidisciplinary team to create a viable national MHPSS strategy.
